The opioid crisis: A resource guide

Opioid addiction is an enormous societal crisis and AFT members are fighting on the frontlines for the communities we serve. Each day, 115 Americans die from opioid-related overdose and less than a third of the people who need treatment can find it.  AFT is responding with resources and training that all of our members can use—from understanding how addiction works and knowing where to access treatment to ending the stigma that prevents many individuals and families from getting help.
